Registered Osteopath — Rocky Point, NSW
Peter Reid graduated as an Osteopath from the International College of Osteopathy in Randwick in 1989. Prior to that, he worked for four years as a masseur for an Osteopath, Kevin Du Val, in Bronte, in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. In 1990 Peter established the Crows Nest Complementary Health Centre, a multi-disciplinary practice in Crows Nest, Sydney. He practiced there for 28 years until the building was sold to developers. In 2017, Peter moved his premises part-time to Lenise Appleyard’s Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Clinic in Milson’s Point. Peter was inspired to follow this career path after requiring treatment for an injury which occurred during his competitive skiing years in the late ’80s. After injuring his spine and coccyx in a fall while ski jumping, Peter was unable to find help through standard medical treatment. A friend steered him to an osteopath, who fixed the problem in only four visits.
Peter treats patients of all ages, from children and working adults to older people, using a gentle, hands-on approach tailored to each individual.
Osteopathy may help with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including:
